Salt Lake City Public library

Salt Lake City Public library has multiple circulation systems like social buildings use to have. The way you approach this building is fast, clear and multiple because it is a circular plan building in a square location it generates concentric axis that converges on it.
The first circulation system that we can perceive is horizontal. It starts in a hall that connects with the rest of the building spaces by hallways which height and illumination converts them in an efficient and clear system and makes them a lobby for the rooms. On the top floors we can observe the same hallways that have visual relation with the center of the building.
The second one is vertical and it consists in two stairs systems and elevators. The first is an oval stair which is the protagonist in the central space of the building. It helps to distribute the people to all directions. The other one is a corner stairs at the entrance of the building that convert it in a fast and clear system.
Finally the Salt Lake Public library has multiple circulation systems, horizontal and a vertical which height and illumination makes them efficient and practical to the users.
